Donald L. Purtill, President and CEO
Don has an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree in accounting. He founded Purtill Financial in 2000 and has been providing fee only financial planning, investment advisory and income tax services for individuals and families since then. Prior to that, he was an executive with a Fortune 200 company, a college professor and dean, and an accountant for a Big 4 public accounting firm. Don is a Certified Public Accountant who holds the Personal Finance Specialist (PFS) designation from the American Institute of CPAs. About 3,600 CPAs have earned this designation nationally. He is a Registered Investment Adviser in Ohio and Florida. He is one of about 2,000 members of NAPFA, the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, the nation's only organization of fee-only financial planners. Tom is a Registered Investment Adviser Representative for Purtill Financial. He holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Cleveland State University and has eleven years of experience in the financial services industry. Tom joined the firm in 2006. Tom manages the day to day investment and reporting process at Purtill Financial LLC and provides assistance to clients in preparing financial plans and implementing investment strategies. Tom holds the FINRA Series 65 Investment Adviser License and is registered in the States of Ohio and Florida as an Investment Adviser Representative.
Michael Purtill, Investment Adviser Representative
Michael, a Registered Investment Adviser Representative, has a bachelor's degree from Boston University and seven years of experience in the financial services industry. Mike is responsible for client communications and helps prepare client financial plans. Mike joined the firm in 2008. He holds the FINRA Series 65 Investment Adviser License and is registered in the State of Ohio as an Investment Adviser Representative.
Carly A. Purtill, Treasurer
Carly is a Certified Public Accountant with bachelor's and master's degree in accountancy from Case Western Reserve University. She has four years of experience in public accounting where she worked with numerous corporate and not-for-profit clients. Carly is responsible for the firm's financial reporting and works with selected clients as an account manager.
